Oooooo! I LOVE the way you set the Mokume Gané like a cab! That is utterly BRILLIANT!
So it's Techno-Tribal
Mmm. All those nice subtle color and textural differences. So much fun, such variety. And it all wraps together so nicely. I like the sinple polished edges, almost like a picture frame.
The shape..the texture..very pleasing..It reminds me of a seedpod..ripe with life
Really, really beautiful. The intertwined strips are just gorgeous, and the Mokume Gané pieces make it whole.
The detail is exquisite!
This is basically what jewelry is supposed to be, that being reaffirmed by seeing several people whose work I admire commenting above, excellent work!
This is BEAUTIFUL! I love mokume game!
Fantastic- love the mokume gane in a submissive role as accent gems. And I adore the contrast of the round mokume gane and the outside curves with the angular woven texture.
The composition is very beautiful. My teacher makes mokume gane so I have a special appreciation of them now ^^
This is a stunning design. Beautiful use of texture.
very, VERY nice!!! could see this working very well as pendant, too
Beautiful design and work. The textural and shape contrasts work really well.
I love mokumegane. I wish I'd been able to learn how to do it when I was still at University.
I love the shape and texture of this one
I absolutely love this! So much going on and so many techniques. From the bezelled mokumu gain cabs, down to the dainty weave and rivets. I also like that the piece feels light despite the solid middle. I think the "wings" give this lightness with it's thin line and negative space in between. This is definitely a *fav*
Gorgeous work. I love the detail of the woven texture with the small rivets.
Thank you weaving this was quite a long process, I'm so glad the whole piece is finally complete
A stunning brooch with the interlaced, textured strips of silver and the lovely swirly pieces of Mokume Gané. Nice double pin clasp on the back as well.
Thanks Admittedly, I bought the mokume gane, it was sooooooooo expensive ! Around £20-£25 for an inch !
I love all of the texture in this piece!
Thaks, this was for the texture unit in a course I'm currently taking.......Just 3 more projects to go *faint*
Beautiful. Mokume gane is my weak point...
