I half wasn't going to post this but I think it may come in useful for someone somewhere out there in cyber space, plus theres a new sub section in 'tutorials' especially for 'artisan crafts'
I guess this a bit more of a tip than a tutorial but I have talked through steps to make your own beading needle as I have found it virtually impossible to string beads using normal/bought needles......
Also I'm almost out of butane which means no more soldering until I buy more plus I broke my saw (i did buy a new cheap one which is awful to use) and I haven't received the crochet cotton I ordered I'm at a loss for what to do *sigh*
as a fanatic beader and with a fav media of the smallest of the smallest (jap seedbead #15) i reckon any beadshop will sell you a size 12 bead needle. they often look at me as if im crazy but yes this needle combined with a fine wire (i can look up the brand for you if you want) works a treat! i can always manage going through a size 15 bead about 3 times with that wire and needle... so you should have no problem
your tut is btw is a good one... however i have seen it in a lot of beadingbooks before still reckon that if acces to a beadshop is difficuld its a great idea and i bet some devwatchers will put it to good use

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
