Interviewed - Jewelry Club & More-ish

Mon Jun 2, 2008, 1:43 AM
:)

Hello All,

Been a long time since I journal-ed, I haven't really had much to update on ;)

Got interviewed by the lovely 2Dazed from the JewelryClub, you can read the article here: [link] Hope I didn't waffle.

Funnily, they chose the same two images as recently updated on the 'ThenAndNow' blog: [link]

And as of recently, my work is up for sale on etsy [link] Although I will be updating my photos within the next few weeks :)

:XD:

Hey there! Haven't talked to you in awhile. I needed to ask your advice about something. I know most of your work is with metal, but I'm gathering ideas from some of the jewelers that I know and pooling ideas. I need to fix a seashell into some kind of... something so that I can hang it from a chord for a necklace. I don't want to drill a hole in it because that could crack it (and I only have this one. It's kinda special so I'd rather not risk it). I was thinking about using some kind of wire to hook under the back lip of the shell and then curl them around to the front and then glue the wires in place. The shell I have looks like this: [link] . Any advice? (Keep in mind, I'm just looking for something simple that looks nice).
